Here is a little list of things you may want to check up on now and again and since it is the end of the summer, I thought I would just mention them.
Be sure to change your air conditioner filter. It only take a minute to pop in a new one and can save you money by protecting and maintaining your system.
Check out your hot water heater settings. The best temperature is to keep it at 120 degrees Fahrenheit or below to prevent potential burns.
Give your stove a good once over by removing and washing stove grates, burners and coils with soap and water. There is an increased chance of fire because over time, grease can build up, so clean all around your stove.
Check floors, walls, and foundation for cracks and be sure to fix them before they deteriorate or rot away.
Check your weatherproofing. The rubber may need replacing or maybe your wood doors and windows leave space from expanding and contracting.
At the end of barbecue season is a perfect time to have gas barbecue grates and crevices revert back to their shiny selves not only for taste and looks, but also for safety reasons
Make sure that baseboards and bookshelves are free of dust as not to blow it around when the heater turns on.
I hate to see the summer go but now let’s look forward to some winter fun.
Happy Birthday. 🙂
