A clever architect created this five foot square scrabble board. This is an awesome idea for summer fun. Just follow these instructions and have a great time outdoors with your friends and family.
Make a five foot square wood frame and pour concrete into it. Score it into 3 and 3/4 inch squares separated by 1/4 inch joints. Let the concrete cure for one month and then using water color concrete stains, color the tiles. You can make the letter tiles by using baseboard trim and cutting to 3 and 1/4 squares. Use pre-cut, adhesive backed letters and numbers to stick on the letter tiles and then spray with lacquer to seal each one. You can easily store the lightweight letters in a canvas bag. When letters are in use for play time, you can get metal and bend it to make the tray holder.
This will certainly be the talk of the town. You will be the hit of the party. Enjoy!
