Bathtub Cleaning Tips

Hello guys, I thought I’d give you a few more cleaning tips today.

For unclogging bathroom tub drains, get a metal hanger, untwist it and poke it down the hole to unclog or pull out the more likely culprit – hair. Once you get that out, mix up a 1/4 cup of ammonia in a quart of boiling water and pour it down the drain. This dissolves the soap that coats the pipes.

If the water from your shower head is coming out very slow or maybe it is shooting in all different directions, then it is probably clogged from mineral deposit buildup.  Here is a little tip to help you unclog it.  First, use a scrubber sponge to wipe the debris from the holes. If it is still not spraying right, then mix up a solution of equal parts of white vinegar and water to make approximately a cup.  Next, pour the solution into a plastic bag and then put the plastic bag around the shower head so that the holes are totally immersed in the solution.  You can hold the plastic bag in place by using a twist tie.
